Volkswagen CC R-Line Pricing Announced

2013-vw-cc-rline

What’s a pirate’s favorite car? The Volkswagen CC ARR-Line!

Goofy jokes aside, if a pirate wants to drive away in the CC R-Line he’ll have to throw in $32,195 worth of doubloons. The R-Line adds 18-inch aluminum wheels (which VW unhelpfully calls “Mallory”) with all-season tires, new front and rear bumpers and side skirts, and a touchscreen navigation system. Strictly an appearance package, it slots in between the lower Sport and mid-level Sport Plus options, and is only available with the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and a DSG transmission.

For a sportier version of the CC in both R-Line and Sport Plus trims, the inclusion of a DSG-only transmission seems tantamount. But the base Sport model still gets the option of a six-speed manual. It starts at $30,250, and the R-Line represents a $1,945 increase over that. Expect the R-Line treatment to come to Volkswagen dealers at the end of this year, rife for plundering with your wallets.
