Just when you think you’ve seen it all something like this comes along. Fausto Lopez, 35, an off-duty Miami police officer was traveling to a second job when he noticed (or claimed not to) some company in his rearview mirror. A Florida Highway Patrol trooper clocked Lopez traveling in his cruiser at speeds between 78-120 mph and was in close pursuit.
After being followed for several minutes Lopez finally pulls over and is met by the FHP officer with her gun drawn. The stunned Lopez steps out of the car and is promptly arrested, telling the FHP officer the handcuffs’ aren’t necessary. The FHP officer snaps back saying he’s a criminal and cites Lopez for a misdemeanor moving violation. He was later released after being charged with reckless driving, but what the FHP officer said at the end of the first video may shock you. Check out the videos below.
