Fanboys are a curious bunch. Mercilessly defending their brand of choice, they show no restraint in savaging complete strangers—merely for preferring a different product. Undoubtedly, this video of a Nissan GT-R in its watery grave will make some fanboy’s throat well with tears of joy: with another GT-R gone, it makes more room on the road for the Corvette, Ferrari, or Porsche of someone’s fevered imaginations.
A Dutch man caught up to the aftermath of this GT-R accident, which happened right outside of the Netherlands’ TT Circuit Assen shortly after the ADAC GT Masters race. The damage appears pretty severe. The entire right side is dented in, mud and grass blanket the roof and rear window, and the rear bumper and taillights have been sheared off—oh, and there’s also the matter of evicting some minnows from its Alcantara-trimmed seats.
Before long, a flatbed truck hauled the GT-R out of the water. No word on whether its owner will fess up and suffer the wrath of Internet denizens everywhere. “That’s what happens if you drive with wooden shoes,” one commenter quipped. Wherefore art thou, Edo Enzo?

Note to self: don’t drive a $90K car with wooden shoes…
