Titled “All From One Place,” the thirty second commercial highlighting mbrace2 is airing during this year’s U.S. Open. Mercedes-Benz is the official car of one of tennis’ biggest events of the year and has been known to partner with Roger Federer, one of the best tennis players today (or ever, for that matter), for marketing purposes. Mercedes-Benz let Federer drive the 2012 SLS AMG roadster before anyone else while simultaneously creating an advertisement for the high-performance vehicle. Besides the 30 second commercial on television, the ad will also appear on various other social media platforms.
Just what exactly does mbrace2 do you ask? The system combines safety information about the vehicle, and controls the infotainment center as well as personal assistance and vehicle care. Mercedes-Benz vehicles equipped with mbrace2 have open internet access with apps like FaceBook, Yelp, and others; all personalized exclusively for the driver.
