Toyota has released pricing today for two heavyweights its stable: the 2012 Toyota RAV4 and 2012 Toyota Prius Liftback. The RAV4 is offered in three models: RAV4 grade, Sport, and Limited and will be priced $100 higher than last year’s model. Toyota’s wildly popular compact SUV will start at $22,650 and tops out at $28,650. The 2012 Prius Liftback welcomes the Prius v, the Prius Plug-in hybrid, and the Prius c to its family. It receives a two percent increase and will start at $24,000 and no more than $29,805.
The RAV4 includes a new audio system for the 2012 model year and also includes hands-free capabilities, phone book access, and the ability to stream music through a Bluetooth hands-free device. The Limited Grand will offer a Display Audio with Navigation and Entune. Entune is Toyota’s multimedia system that is smartphone compatible and includes Bing as a search engine. It also includes Pandora, which provides real-time updates for traffic, weather, and fuel prices.
For 2012 the Prius Liftback receives a facelift, revamped tail lamps, redesigned 15-inch wheel covers, and LED Daytime Running Lights. Interior updates include a 6.1-inch Display Audio system with a USB port and Bluetooth connectivity. RAV4 pricing don’t include an $810 delivery, processing, and handling fee while the Prius Liftback excludes a $760 fee as well.
