The 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet are heading to the showroom next month, just in time for summer. Whether you want to feel the wind ripping through your hair as you drive down the coast or zip through the city streets in style, there’s an E-Class to fit any lifestyle….for a price.
The new E-Class comes equipped with a list of new standard features, including Collision Prevention Assist, Attention Assist, LED headlights and tail lamps, and more. Optional features include a surround-view camera, Parking Assist, as well as an array of Driver Assistance Packages. Safety features on the 2014 E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet include Neck-Pro active head restraints, Roll-Over Sensor, mbrace2, as well as standard airbags throughout the cabin.
The E350 Coupe, Cabriolet, and E350 4MATIC Coupe will feature a 3.5-liter V-6 engine that produces 302 horsepower, while the E550 Coupe and Cabriolet will have a 4.6-liter biturbo V-8 engine delivering 402 horsepower. The new 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet models go up against the Audi A5 Coupe and Cabriolet, as well as the Cadillac CTS Coupe, and although pricing and fuel economy have yet to be announced, the numbers will no doubt competitive and give the E-Class something to stand on. Don’t expect them to be quite as affordable, though, as the 2013 E350 coupe starts at $52,025, and the next model isn’t expected to get any cheaper when pricing is announced in the next few weeks.
