Set to hit showroom floors this fall, the 2015 Mazda3 has been spotted testing on the roads of Germany before it makes its official debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show later this year. Although we’ve seen pictures of the next-generation Mazda3 out testing before, for the first time we bring you not only exterior shots, but those of the interior as well.
We expect the new Mazda3 to keep the 148 horsepower, 2.0-liter SkyActiv engine, as well as its higher fuel economy. The next-gen Mazda3 will be available in both a diesel and conventional gas engine variants, with the hatchback making its debut before the sedan that will follow.
The next-generation Mazda3 has adopted the “Kodo” design seen on the new Mazda6, and will no doubt be turning heads when revealed. So far this year, the automaker has sold over more than Mazda3 vehicles, and the redesigned model will likely help break the 300,000 unit barrier when it becomes available.
