The 2015 Ford Mustang is already one of the most hotly anticipated new vehicle debuts that we’ll see next year, and now we’ve got our best look at what the interior–and specifically the center stack–will look like.
The next-generation Ford Mustang will feature a large infotainment screen situated at the top of the center stack, above the climate controls. No doubt the 2015 Mustang will feature Ford’s latest system, possibly the latest MyFord Touch update. In the past, Ford’s infotainment system has come under scrutiny from consumers for its unintuitive use, a situation which Ford acknowledged and looked to remedy. The volume control is handled by a rotary knob, which we prefer to the capacitive buttons that you tap.
Next to the HVAC controls we can see buttons for both heated and cooled seats, and we can see the 2015 Mustang will feature a start/stop button. Our spy photographer was also able to capture images of the rear three-quarter-window C-pillar, and says while the current one looks like an afterthought, the 2015 Mustang’s seems to reflect the EVOS concept car’s styling. We expect to see more of the 2015 Ford Mustang testing, and we anticipate learning more as we near the end of the year.
