The new 2015 Chevrolet Cruze has been spotted. When compared with the current model, the 2015 Cruze looks much more sleek, thanks to the new and more rounded front end and slightly longer rear. The door handles now sit higher up on the doors.
Rumor has it the new 2015 Cruze will be the first to ride on a new GM platform internally called the D2xx, according to rumors. A platform is an industry term for a common architecture that’s shared among multiple vehicles; the D2xx platform is expected to support the next generation of the Volt and Equinox, as well as the new Cruze.
There have been no rumors or speculation regarding drivetrain, but it is safe to expect less fuel consumption, along with lower CO2 emissions when compared with the current version. Along with the 2015 Chevrolet Cruze, at the Detroit Auto Show, the 2014 Chevrolet Cruze Diesel was unveiled, marking the first time in thirty years where an American automaker has offered a diesel engine destined for its home market.
