Heck, iPone can control just about every other aspect of your life, why not the car? You don’t believe us? A company called Rinspeed has made it possible for the Apple iPhone to control a car.
The concept car is called “iChange” and it will debut at the Geneva Auto Show. The car is designed to allow the iPhone to lock and unlock the “doors”, start and stop the car, and control the headlights and turn signals.
The iChange concept car is powered by lithium-ion batteries and does not have any doors, per se. Instead one gains access into the car through the electrically powered roof that tilts forward. The roof also features solar panels to work the power fans to keep the interior cool.
The vehicle starts off as a one seater but it can be expanded to seat three. An infotainment system from Harman/Kardon which includes a navigation system that shows you the most fuel efficient way to a destination.
