Recall Alert for the 1 Percent; Select Maserati GranTurismo’s Have Faulty Tail Lights

2011-Maserati-GranTurismoMC-driver's-side-three-quarters

Maserati is recalling 1768 GranTurismo convertibles assembled from 2008 to 2010 for faulty tail lights. The convertibles have a defective lamp assembly which can cause the tail lights to fail. Without tail lights vehicle visibility is drastically reduced and could result in an accident.

Maserati will notify owners of the affected convertibles and dealers will inspect and replace those with broken tail lights free of charge. The recall is expected to begin this month and concerned owners can contact Maserati at (201) 816-2600 and reference recall number 198. You can also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration at (888)-327-4236 and use 12V024000 as a reference number.
