Get out your checkbooks: Porsche has released pricing details on two new late-2012 models and two 2013 models and, as expected, they’re not for the faint of heart. Of course, you already knew that if you’re serious Porsche aficionado.
Scheduled to debut this week at the 2012 New York Auto Show, the long-reported 2013 Porsche Cayenne Diesel starts at a cool $56,725, which includes the $975 destination and handling fee. The Porsche Cayenne Diesel is powered by a 3.0-liter V-6 which generates a respectable 240 horsepower but deliveries a jaw-dropping 406 lb.-ft. of low-end power, or torque. Porsche has not released the mileage figures of the 2013 Cayenne Diesel but states it can travel up to 740 miles on a single tank of fuel.
The 2013 Porsche Boxster debuted at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show last month, but it makes its U.S. introduction this week in New York. The base Porsche Boxster roadster starts at $50,450 while the more potent Porsche Boxster S start at $61,850. Both prices include the $950 destination and handling fee.
Finally, the 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet drop-top begins at a near mind-boggling $94,650 for the base model and $104,750 for the Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet S. Again, both prices include the $950 destination and handling fee. The 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet made its debut at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show.
