Pontiac Solstice, Saturn Sky: Saved?

General Motors is prepared to jettison its Saturn brand and it has already announced that it will kill Pontiac. While many fans of these two brands are upset in general many more are shaken by the apparent loss of some interesting car models. Examples include the Saturn Sky and the Pontiac Solstice.
But perhaps those models still have a future. Fritz Henderson, CEO of General Motors, said that he would be willing to sell the plant in Delaware that manufactures them.

Both the Sky and Solstice were introduced in 2006.
Pontiac sold 10,739 Solstices and Saturn has sold 9,162 Sky roadsters in 2008.

Chrysler is in a similar predicament with its Dodge Viper. The company wants to jettison the model but hopes that it can sell it rather than kill it.
