If you’re one of the estimated 955 million users on Facebook, one of the most popular social media sites of all time, you know what the recent switch to Timeline is all about. Whether you’re in favor for it or not, the new design lay-out forces you to choose a cover photo for your “new” profile. For those of you who are unfamiliar with all of this, a cover photo is the image that spans the entire width of the top of your profile. A cover photo can be anything of your choosing, and Nissan is asking for your help with choosing its cover photo for August 2012.
On Nissan’s Facebook page is a segment that asks you which vehicle in the automaker’s portfolio should be featured as the cover photo for next month. However, the election is rigged: the only photos available for your perusal are four different images of the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. Now we’d like to think when the general public is asked by the automaker responsible for producing the GT-R to choose a vehicle for a cover shot, Godzilla would be it. Should the 2013 Pathfinder be the cover photo for Nissan’s Facebook page next month?
Nissan is asking you to decide by going to its Facebook page and having your say. While not pictured, users have voted for the Juke, Sentra, and there’s even been a few cries for the Xterra. And yes, of course, a healthy dose of votes for the GT-R, too.
So, what say you? What Nissan vehicle would you pick for the automaker’s cover page on Facebook for next month? Does the 2013 Pathfinder deserve some time in the sun or should Nissan continue letting the GT-R do its thing? Sound off in the comment section below.
