The Scandinavians were among the first Europeans to explore (and conquer) their continent en masse, over the course of three centuries. If they had the luxury of an Audi R8 Spyder, we think they would have done so a lot faster.
On the Motor Trend Channel’s premiere episode of “Epic Drives,” editor Frank Markus takes an Audi R8 Spyder around Norway and its incomprehensible names in an effort to follow the travels of the Vikings, and get in touch with his own roots. Jaw-dropping scenery, bearded townspeople, and the consumption of brennevin ensue (though not at the same time, thankfully). Leif Ericson may have been the first to reach America, but he never looked this good doing it.
