If there’s one thing truck owners love, besides their actual truck of course, it’s adding more parts on to enhance performance or styling. Thanks to Mopar, owners of the refreshed 2013 Ram 1500 will have a variety of options to choose from. Chrysler’s parts and customer-care division is offering more than 300 parts and accessories for the latest model year Ram half-ton hauler. Parts and accessories vary from as low as a $12 trailer hitch plug to as high as a lift kit that costs $3,311. According to Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO of Mopar, Ram owners spend around $500 each on their truck.
Some notable features available for the 2013 Ram 1500 through Mopar include steel tubular steps that vary in length and color, toolboxes, tonneau covers, and bed liners. Other available features include chrome grille inserts, body-side moldings, front-air deflector, and fuel door, a Class IV hitch, ball mount adapters, and trailer tow mirrors. Mopar offers a Sport/Performance hood as well as an electronic vehicle tracking system. The usual list of performance goodies is also available for the 2013 Ram 1500 through Mopar. These include a suspension lift kit, a cat-back exhaust system, and a cold-air intake.
