In an effort to arouse press for its new models, Toyota has teased feature-specific design cues of some of its upcoming redesigned vehicles. The new Lexus GS sports sedan is just one example, when early this month, fans and press saw the bold new front grille design—a radical new philosophy that will soon make its way to other Lexus vehicles.
The new grille certainly piqued our interest, but today, the world will finally see the rest of the car, which Lexus hopes will compete with the exceptionally competent Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW 5 Series.
Lexus will unveil its new sports sedan at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance near Monterey, California. Very few details of the car are known, other than that it will be powered by a 3.5-liter V-6; further details will surely be announced at Pebble beach.
If you’re unable to attend the Pebble Beach Concours, the unveiling will be hosted live on Lexus’ Facebook page at 6:45 pm EST.
