Pontiac Buick Dealership Blackout

Forbes likes to make lists.
In a manner similar to an obituary, the business site recently compiled a list of auto brands will be gone over the next few years. Called the “fastest-Dying Car Brands,” Forbes.com took pains to base their findings on study.

It referred to the year-over-year sales records of Auto Data, it evaluated the percentage of increase or decline in sales for each brand in the U.S. market since 2003, and it added up the fluctuations of each brand to see the steepest downward trend.

Here is what the study finds. The brands nearest to cancellation include:

Buick
Accumulated decline since 2003: 81 percent

Isuzu
Accumulated decline since 2003: 144.6 percent

Jaguar
Accumulated decline since 2003: 112 percent

Mitsubishi
Accumulated decline since 2003: 81.2 percent

Saab
Accumulated decline since 2003: 70.3 percent
