2007 Isuzu Ascender Front Left

Isuzu Motors no longer has a partnership with General Motors to distribute trucks in North America. Instead, the Japanese automaker wants to go alone.

Isuzu and General Motors has been distributing trucks since 2000. Now, reports the Detroit News, Isuzu will be marketing and distributing its trucks to 550 dealers across the U.S. including 350 run by GM.

Both automakers continue to work together to supply trucks in the Middle East and other areas.
