Continuing its products for more products, Nissan Motor *** luxury brand Infiniti will debut another crossover at the New York Auto Show next month.Posted by Motor Trend, the Infiniti EX Concept–or more specifically, its production version—goes on sale by year’s end. Design-wise, we agree with MT that it looks like a crossover (get it?) between the larger FX crossover and G35 sedan.
Infiniti will showcase three new technologies on the EX: a liquid crystal roof, Around View Monitor (AVM) which allows the drivers to “see” through blindspots due to cameras; and an advanced version of Infiniti’s Lane Departure Prevention (LDP) system.
Additional details can be found at the link. Engine details and interior images have yet to be released. Pricing information or when the EX goes on sale have yet to be announced. Our take? In a time of increasingly larger SUVs and crossovers, it’s interesting that many automakers like Nissan continue to build vehicles more in competition with coupes and sedans. Are the latter two days numbered?
