The 2014 Honda CR-V goes on sale today at dealerships nationwide. In a recent comparison test we conducted
, we ranked the 2013 Honda CR-V, basically the same vehicle, third out of five, noting that it was markedly quieter than some past Honda models as well as smoother and still decent to drive. We lauded it for its utility and clever packaging, but we felt some of its technology was dated.
That shouldn’t scare away families, however. The 2014 Honda CR-V has earned a five-star crash safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration as well as a 2013 Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
