GM To Allow Pontiac Dealers To Close Early

2009 Pontiac G8 Gxp Front Right Detroit Skyline

General Motors has announced that it will allow Pontiac dealers to close earlier than the planned shut down of later this year.
It appears that the “Cash for Clunkers” program helped Pontiac dealers sell out their inventory quicker than expected. GM had given Pontiac dealers until January 1, 2010 to close down their businesses. Now it looks like the last dealership will close its doors by end of 2009.
