Remember our post on a Bugatti Veyron that had crashed into a Texas lake had surfaced online?
Here’s one to top it.
Ferrari CEO Luca di Montezemolo, during a parade lap at the Ferrari World final at a track in Valencia Spain, made a wrong turn resulting in the car going off the track and into a gravel trap where it became stuck after rolling a few feet. Alonso and Massa tried to help Montezemolo move the car out of the trap with help from nearby technicians, however the car looked like it would be stuck for awhile so a second Ferrari California showed up to help the three finish their parade lap.
Footage can be found at egmCarTech. Our take? Although it might be considered mean and heartless, there is something funny about watching somebody drive their car off the road and get it stuck in a gravel trap. Seeing it happen with a $200,000 Ferrari just makes it even funnier.

I wouldn’t mind a car stuck in a sandpit as long as it’s Ferrari. And there’s three of them inside the vehicle when Luca di Montezemolo was driving the vehicle around the sandpit… It’s funny. One man’s problem may become the other man’s entertainment.
Well, getting stuck onto the sandpit is great time to show-off what a great Ferrari can do.
And the funniest thing was, it was driven by no less than Ferrari’s CEO.
