We’ve already seen the 2013 Range Rover ahead of its official unveil at the Paris Motor Show later this month, but particulars about the interior and other features were still hazy, until now. We now know that the latest Range Rover will roll on one of eight different wheel patterns to choose from, varying in size from 18- to 22-inches, and also that there are three different headliner colors. While none of these details are likely to make or break the deal if you’re in the market for one, it’s still important to know your options.
Other features for the 2013 Range Rover that have been confirmed include rear individualized seating, an available full-size panoramic roof, an optional side-steps that deploy when the doors are opened, and illuminated door sill plates with the top Autobiography trim level. There is a wide variety of colors to choose from both inside out including 37 for the exterior—22 of which are exclusively for the Autobiography trim—17 interior colors (three separate seat color choices), three interior veneers with more to come, and two optional contrast roof colors (Santorini Black or Indus Silver).
Other features include a Smart Key system, power operated child locks (a standard feature on the rear doors), an available cooler compartment that sits in the center console armrest, heated windshield and steering wheel, power split upper and lower tailgates, a new climate control system with an available four-zone system, high-res displays for the instrument cluster and 8-inch touchscreen, and a Meridan premium audio system. A USB port is present both in the front and again in the rear so passengers can listen to something different if they so choose.
Some notable safety features in the 2013 Range Rover include electric power assisted steering, adaptive cruise control, Intelligent Emergency Braking, blind spot monitoring, Reverse Traffic Detection, an adjustable speed limiter, a surround camera system with trailer reverse park guidance as well as trailer hitch guidance.
