If you’ve been waiting to design your very own 2013 Ford Fusion, your wait is officially over. Ford has launched an online configurator for the 2013 Fusion, giving you the ability to select a variety of models and options. Don’t get too excited, though, as Ford has omitted pricing for models and options from the configurator for the time being.
Nevertheless, the Ford Fusion configurator still walks you through the norms like picking a model, its color, what options go inside, and an overall summary. Personalization of your 2013 Ford Fusion begins with choosing the model — S, SE, Titanium, or SE hybrid model — with three or four bullet points following each model quickly describing highlighted features. After you pick a model, a screen pops up, giving a much more in-depth run-down of the key and standard features on the selected trim. Before continuing on to selecting an exterior color, you must choose what engine you want to power your new Fusion. Your choices are between a 2.5-liter four-cylinder, 1.6-liter EcoBoost, or 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine coupled with either auto- or four-wheel drive.
Next up, pick between nine different exterior colors, and your interior color and material have already been selected for you: charcoal black leather, to be exact. After that, you must choose available options like Drive Assist, voice activated navigation, moonroof, aluminum wheels, and adaptive cruise control. Lastly is your summary of your all-new 2013 Ford Fusion, with a run-down of everything you selected from trim level to all-weather floor mats.
As mentioned earlier, Ford didn’t attach pricing to everything listed in the configurator and you’re left to guess and wonder how much it’s going to cost you. Not to worry though: our colleagues over at Motor Trend estimate the 2013 Ford Fusion will start around $21,000 and top out at around $42,000.
You can personalize your very own 2013 Ford Fusion here. As always, stay tuned for the latest information, including pricing, pertaining to the all-new 2013 Ford Fusion.
