Fisker’s Last Recall was a Halt, Now Un-halted

2012 Fisker Karma Front Three Quarter

In the on-again, off-again world of simultaneously praising and bashing electric vehicles, recent punching bag Fisker—which builds the supremely awesome and occasionally troubled Karma EV sedan—recalled 239 Karma EV’s in the first week of January for a faulty battery.

Only, it wasn’t a recall, and it wasn’t the battery. According to Fisker spokesman Roger Ormisher, Fisker halted sales of the Karma due to a glitch in the vehicle’s software. Which has been updated. So that sales can resume.

Henrik Fisker, head honcho for the brand of his last name, personally contacted the owners of affected vehicles, and sales have, in fact, resumed.
