Next week the auto world will descend upon Los Angeles from every corner of the world to preview everything new and worthy—for a few weeks anyways—until the next major auto show. Last year Fiat stirred up a little commotion with the Fiat 500 Abarth, and its famous ad campaign. This year, we’re offered a teaser video ahead of the show, one that’s exciting in its own right.
Featuring Ferrari drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa, the two take to their own 160-hp 2013 Fiat 500 Abarth Cabrio convertibles. Fiat debuted the Abarth model of the 500 last year, and it was generally well received, especially compared with the more pedestrian non-Abarth version. This year, Fiat will hope to achieve some of the buzz it generated last year, this time for its topless model. Check out the video below to get a sense of just what these microcars are capable of.
