The first commercial promoting the 2013 Dodge Dart will hit the airwaves during Major League Baseball’s All Star game tomorrow night. In preparation of the Dart going on sale across the country, Dodge will be launching a 90-second commercial teaching viewers “How to Change Cars Forever.”
The Dart’s first commercial features an accelerated overview on how to produce a competitive vehicle in one of the most, if not the most, competitive vehicle segments in North America. An all-new tagline, “New Rules,” will also be featured in the commercial. “How to Change Cars Forever” also features a few cameos, one in particular being a cleft chin quarterback for the New England Patriots.
Following tomorrow night’s broadcast, Dodge will continue to air the new Dart commercial in 30 and 60 second increments for the remainder of the summer. A high-impact marketing campaign is set to launch in September when Dart vehicles will have made its way to dealerships. Besides television, the first Dart commercial will appear in other television spots, and other print and digital outlets. Even movie theaters will play the Dart’s commercial during the previews to expose viewers to the new compact too.
The 2013 Dodge Dart is set to enter dealership care with a starting price of $15,995 and your choice of a 1.4- or 2.0-liter engine. A 2.4-liter variant is expected to join the Dart lineup along with an R/T trim by the end of the year. Owners will also have the ability to customize their new Dart over 100,000 different ways from the factory too.
