Set to hit dealers by the end of the third quarter, the 2014 Dodge Durango seven passenger SUV has been priced at $29,795 before destination charges. The price stays the same as the 2013 model, but adds more than $3,500 of new content. The new Durango is available in five models: SXT, Rallye, Limited, R/T, and the top-of-the-line Citadel.
New standard features for the 2014 Dodge Durango include an eight-speed automatic transmission, projector headlamps and foglamps, Dodge’s signature LED “racetrack” taillights, Bluetooth, touchscreen infotainment display, paddle shifters, keyless entry, push-button start, as well as 18- or 20-inch aluminum wheels, bright chrome or body color accents, and seven airbags. Available features include forward collision warning with full-stop functionality, heated and ventilated Nappa leather seats, and seatback-mounted dua-screen Blu-Ray/DVD players.
Tim Kuniskis, president and CEO of the Dodge brand, said in a statement that “Dodge Durango is on a tremendous run, with 9 months of consecutive growth. The new 2014 Durango builds on that momentum, raising the bar for performance, technology, and style. With best-in-class power, towing, infotainment and fuel economy, the new Durango offers a combination unmatched by any other SUV or Crossover in America.”
