Roughly 67,000 children’s car seats are being recalled because of tests which "show the seats might separate from their bases in front-end collisions."Manufacturer Combi USA says that no reports of injuries have come in, though they did not specify what had prompted the federal tests.
No witty quips on this one – just indignation that a federal test found what the manufacturer didn’t: shearing of seat and base portions of a safety seat.
Affected models are the Combi USA Centre, Centre ARB, or Shuttle (Model 8065, 8074, 8086, 8087, or 8520) seat. Recall details and company contact details after the jump. Keep those kids safe.
