Chrysler Recalls Dodge Ram 2500, 3500 HD Pickup Trucks to Clean Up Soot Issue

The Cummins diesel has always been a popular choice within the Ram (nee Dodge Ram) Heavy Duty pickup truck lineup and a recent recall will see 186,099 Ram 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty trucks flagged for abnormally high levels of soot production.

Only Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks from the 2007-2009 model years are under recall.

The Raider was a Mitsubishi product, sold by Chrysler, and like the original minivan, with regular oil changes, bullet-proof! Shame the bigger engined Chrysler stuff that evolved from it got worse! I miss the "Jap Crap" Comments.......as I ply my way around Jeeps, Fords, Chevs, in my trusty old Suzuki products off-road :)

More bad news for Chrysler. I'm hoping that this is it because they were already on a positive roll and it would be really a shame if they start to stumble there future because of recalls....they are not the Raiders you know!! :)
