The CEO of AutoNation, the country’s largest auto dealership chain, is bullish about Chrysler. CEO Mike Jackson said that he became enthusiastic about Chrysler after attending a seven-hour presentation by Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne and Chrysler managers. He liked what he heard and he announced that AutoNation will be investing more in Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge dealerships it already owns and acquire more.
AutoNation owns 245 franchises across the U.S.
A Chrysler spokesperson said that Chrysler is talking with AutoNation about possible opportunities.
He seems to have a lot of confidence in this merger….
