Caught! 2013 Range Rover Testing in the Snow

2013-Range-Rover-rear

It goes without saying the Range Rover is one of the most luxurious SUVs available to the public. But what many forget are its tremendous go-anywhere off-roading capabilities. Sounds funny for sure when thinking about its rough-and-tumble heritage, but most Range Rovers are instead destined for a life of grocery shopping and avoiding too-fast community gates.

That doesn’t faze the British auto maker, and Land Rover has moved forward with testing its next revision of the Range Rover in the snow. Spy photographers were able to catch a glimpse into the interior of the 2013 Range Rover. As to be expected, the Range Rover’s insides share a lot of similar characteristics as its smaller brother, the Range Rover Evoque. Land Rover is looking to have most of its stable migrate towards similar styling cues both inside and out as the Evoque.

One particular shot shows the dashboard of the Range Rover to be almost identical to its smaller sibling. Air vents sit above what appears to be a navigation and media system, the same set-up found in the Evoque. The rest of the 2013 Range Rover rests under heavy camouflage, but we expect once it all falls off that it will also have an appearance similar to the Evoque. As always, stay tuned as more details become available.
