January was a month of record-breaking success for many manufacturers, including Ford, Chrysler and Honda boasting an increase of 46 percent, 37 percent, and 75 percent, respectively. The rise of the subcompact and hybrid vehicles continue to drive those records, as gas prices skyrocket and fuel economy becomes more important to drivers.
Toyota continues to shine with three vehicles making it on the list, including Best Compact Car, Midsize Car, and Minivan. With its sales of 141,514 of all cars for the month of January, it’s no wonder why they’ve done what no other manufacturer was able to do this month.
