If we were to sit down and make up a wish list of things we’d want in a car, the 2013 Chrysler 300 SRT8 probably comes closest to filling in all the checkboxes. It has a powerful V-8 engine, a sporty suspension with surprisingly good handling, and a comfortable and roomy interior. When it’s not roaring through canyon roads, or blasting down the Interstate, it offers up a quiet and calm interior, with plenty of room for kids or adults in back. It has a roomy trunk, all the technology features you expect from a modern sedan costing $60,000, it looks good, and since it’s a Chrysler it pulls at our patriotic heartstrings, too.
But there’s one drawback, a flaw, in this otherwise excellent car that makes us pause. What is it? Check out our Quick Drive of the 2013 Chrysler 300 SRT8 and see for yourself.
