Behind the Wheel: 2013 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ

2013 Chevy Malibu Front Quarter

The 2013 Chevrolet Malibu has gotten a bad rap, perhaps undeservedly so. An all-new vehicle for this model year, the Chevrolet Malibu returns a slightly smaller car than the one it replaces. But does that make it a worse car? More specifically, does that make it a worse family sedan?

Carrying new sheetmetal over a new platform with a new 2.5-liter engine, perhaps the only thing that’s carryover from last year’s model is the key fob. Designed for a world market, the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu comes fortified with a host of premium technologies like Chevy’s MyLink infotainment system, blind spot detection, HID headlights, and more. Can packing so much stuff in one of the cheaper cars in its class save it from being an instant also-ran? First of all, we don’t think it’s a bad car at all. Follow the link to read our full Quick Drive review of the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ and see what we have to say about it.
