Autonet, manufacturer of Wi-Fi for the car, is offering an OEM developer kit that makes a Wi-Fi hotspot in the dashboard of the car.The device uses an Intel Atom processor and Linux-based software and creates a cellular connection that is converted to Wi-Fi.
The San Francisco, California based company already offers as a dealer option a device for Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge cars as well as the Volkswagen Routan and Cadillac CTS.
