Which cars are the safest? The Audi A4, the Acura RL, and the Saab 9-3 (pictured) tops the list recently compiled by Forbes. The magazine pointed out that all three vehicles received the highest possible ratings from four well-known sources — Consumer Reports, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), and the Highway Loss Data Institute (HLDI). Forbes only compiled data on vehicles that the NHTSA and the IIHS had performed tests.
