Would-be buyers of the 2013 Subaru BRZ sports car had better rush (virtually) to the company’s website. Subaru dealerships they’ll only have 6000 of the hot coupes available to sell for model year 2013.
The Subaru BRZ is a front-engine, rear-wheel drive sports car. The Subaru BRZ is the first major tangible product from Toyota and Subaru, which start collaborating back in 2008. (Toyota has around a 16-percent stake in Subaru’s parent company Fuji.) The original Toyota FT-86 concept has spawned three production vehicles: Toyota GT 86, which is sold overseas; the U.S. Scion FR-S; and the Subaru BRZ.
The 2013 Subaru BRZ goes on sale this spring. Pricing has not yet been announced though speculation has it pegged around mid-$25,000.
