Time to move fast.

That's probably what General Motor's management must be saying with the sale of Saturn to Penske Automotive falling through. As you all know, Penske unexpectedly said no to the purchase, citing lack of future supply of cars from rumored Renault-Nissan. The announcement surprised GM as well as the public, who pretty much thought the transaction to be a done deal.

GM is now responding. Per AutoWeek, the automaker said that it sold about 3,000 Saturns last month and that it has about 12,000 Saturns still in inventory. It has stopped production of Saturn vehicles and plans to sell the thousands of Saturns it has left within the next four months.

That's a good goal but very difficult to reach in my opinion. People know at this point that Saturn is no more so the value of the car is most likely going to be worthless.....unless u buy the car for a collection or what not.

I went to the Saturn website to check prices on the Saturn Outlook. The latest Saturn Outlook is 2009. No 2010 model. The price for the 2009 was $46,000. The Kelley Blue Book value is $31,000. SO much for buying a Saturn.
