Though we're already aware of many, if not all, the vehicles on display at the OC Auto show, that doesn't necessarily mean we've actually had a chance to check them out from the automaker or, even better, drive them. (That's the providence of our siblings Motor Trend and Automobile magazines, the lucky dogs.)
The new 2010 Ford Taurus is a lot bigger than we expected. And more upscale. Ford definitely moved its full-sized sedan close to premium in quality and fit and finish. Unfortunately, this begs the question of, again, where to place Mercury in the Ford lineup.
The Lincoln C Concept makes an appearance at the OC Auto show. It's an interesting vehicle: an entry-level Lincoln, and response from the press seems positive.
Both the Hyundai Genesis sedan and coupe show (see lead-in above) a new direction for the Korean automaker, and the Equus continues in the brand's upscale evolution. While the crowds will wonder about the premium sedan's (low) price against more costly luxury brand, we in the press wonder what Hyundai plans with its more entry and mid-segment models like the Accent and Azera respectively.
