Volkswagen has announced that they will be releasing a new special edition of the Beetle in Europe called the Black-Orange.

While the name of this special edition Beetle may invoke images of Halloween, the name actually comes from these Beetles’ paint jobs.

Black-Orange Beetles will be available in Orange with black stripes or black with white stripes and will be rolling on 17-inch five-spoke alloy wheels with special lettering on the doors.

On the inside drivers will find a three-spoke leather-wrapped sport steering wheel, aluminum pedals, uniquely designed floor mats, and a leather trim contrasted with orange stitching.
Standard equipment for these vehicles include air conditioning, upgraded audio system, center armrest, and electric windows.

The VW Beetle Black-Orange edition will be available in both hardtop and convertible options and will be powered by a 102-hp four-cylinder engine.  Pricing for these Beetles will start at €22,550 (US$33,800).
