New Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne is showing that he is not shy about making hard decisions.

Autojab reports that he has already decided to drop six models from the Chrysler line. They include the Chrysler Sebring, the PT Cruiser, the Jeep Compass and the Jeep Patriot.

He has also made decisions concerning Alfa Romeo and its relationship to Chrysler. Plans are to re-badge certain Chrysler models with the Alfa Romeo name. There is even talk of a Alfa Romeo Challenger. Say what?

No tears shed here for the Compass/Patriot. The Cruiser has been around for way too long with minimal changes, and DCX ruined the Sebring's styling. Things can only get better from here.
