Our take? Interesting. Our biggest concern, though, would be quality. Neither Chrysler/Dodge and Fiat have great track records regarding the finesse of their products; Fiat left the U.S. market in the early Eighties partially in response to the Japanese onslaught of inexpensive, well-made cars. We look forward, though, for the Italian automaker to prove us wrong.

FIAT gets great quality these days, check out the EU ratings.

What's really cool is the Abarth 500 they're sending over- although I'd love to see the Milano too, just hope the tacky Dodge grille looks OK on it.

Abarth is an in-house tuner along the lines of BMW's M or Mercedes' AMG... and has a fifty-year history modifying FIAT cars for racing and street performance.

Can you imagine 160hp in this thing with 6-spd stick? Topanga Canyon here I come...
