Though Fiat has yet to "own" Chrysler, it's moving fast. The Italian automaker recently announced it will have the troubled American automaker build several of its vehicles.

Per AutoWeek:

Chrysler will build and sell four versions of the tiny Fiat 500 in North America starting in 2011: a hatchback, a convertible, a station wagon and a sporty hatchback.

A fifth model--a small, four-wheel-drive SUV--also is possible.

The new vehicles will be sold under the Fiat name, not rebadged as Chrysler. Pricing information on these new models has yet to be released.

As long as the Abarth is part of the lineup. :-)

I have been waiting patiently, but can hardly stand it. Glad to hear they will keep the Fiat badge. :)
