The new Camaro returns those numbers thanks to a reasonable, if slightly portly curb weight ranging from 3769 to 3849 lbs depending on the model. Also helping the cause is a low 0.37 drag coefficient on LT models and a lower 0.35 drag coefficient on the slippery SS models. At 190.4-in. long, it's a full seven inches shorter than a Dodge Challenger and at least 300 lbs lighter. On the other hand, it's two inches longer than a 2010 Ford Mustang and a few hundred pounds heavier, so it should slot nicely between the two in terms of size and weight. With 426 hp on tap, though, it out-guns the Mustang and its lighter curb weight should put it ahead of the Challenger as well, but we won't know for sure until we've had a chance to test all three, so stay tuned for that. All three are within an inch or two of each other in height and width, with the Camaro at 54.2-in. and 75.5-in. respectively.
