So there’s been a lot of talk, but what is General Motors really going to do about Hummer?

Well, recent actions by General Motors concerning Hummer may provide a hint.

South Bend Tribune writes that the company announced it is shutting down production of the H2 at a plant in Mishawaka, Indiana, for 15 additional weeks. That's a grand total of 20 weeks of no production. Now that’s drastic. There are, after all, 52 weeks in a year.

GM has admitted that it is "reviewing" the future of Hummer. The options include selling, revitalization, or even discontinuing the brand. Executives say that the results of the review will be announced by the end of the first quarter of this year.
