Do you think that your Toyota Prius looks too..., well, bland? Are you disappointed with the performance of your Honda Civic hybrid?

Remember the days of the muscle cars and parts companies like Mopar offering higher performance products for Dodge cars? People who own hybrids who want to soup them up a little bit may think that there is no place to go to get the parts and accessories that would help in the transition. But wait, there are companies appearing.

For example, there is an online company called juicedhybrid.com that offers about 500 parts and accessories for just about every hybrid model on the road.

For tuners, the company offers lowering and body kits. For those who want to eke out just a little bit better mileage, there are a number of products that integrate with the hybrid computer systems. The company even offers an EV mode chip that allows a Prius to run on electric power for up to 34 miles per hour. And there is also a plug-in supply kit.

Our take? Leave it to the ingenuity of the human race. When something is introduced, we always find a way to make it better.
