Daimler Recalls 2007 Mercedes-Benz S-Class due to Strut Issues

Mercedes-Benz has issued a recall for 1,515 2007 S-Class cars due to a flaw in the manufacturing process.

While stocked full of Mercedes' latest technological goodies, the radial knuckle of the front strut in a S-Class may fail after exposure to high, continuous stress in rough driving.

Should the strut give out while you're cruising on the freeway, you may find your car no longer listens to you.

Dealers will check the production date of the front strut, and if it's included in one of the 1,515, they will be replaced. The recall will begin in December. Call 1-800-367-6372 for more details.
