Those side airbags that are supposed to be protecting the passenger have really proven to be something of a technical hazard for Nissan.

Nissan Motor Co. is recalling 200,000 vehicles, mostly Nissan Altima’s from 2007-2008 and Infiniti EX35, G35 Sedan, G37 and the Nissan 350Z, Murano and Rogue from the same model year. The vehicles' side airbags, accorrding to recall, go off randomly. No injuries or crashes have been reported.

Our take? If you own one of the above vehicles, we highly recommend you take them to your nearest dealership asap.
